Lectern - Watch & Learn
Introduction
Lectern - Watch & Learn respects your privacy. This policy describes what data the app stores, what it accesses, and how optional online features work.
Data collection
Lectern does not collect personal data, usage analytics, tracking data, or crash reports for the developer.
Data stored on your device
- The WWDC catalog cache, transcript search index, favorites, playback-related state, settings, and logs are stored locally on your device.
- OpenAI-compatible API settings or sign-in tokens, if you choose to use AI features, are stored locally using the platform storage available to the app.
Apple developer content
Lectern accesses publicly available Apple developer session metadata, videos, transcripts, chapters, and related materials so you can browse and search them inside the app. Lectern is not affiliated with Apple Inc.
Optional AI features
AI features are optional. If you enable them, the prompts or transcript excerpts you choose to send may be transmitted to your selected OpenAI-compatible service provider to generate a response. Lectern does not receive or store those requests on a developer-operated server.
Data sharing
Lectern does not sell your data and does not share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
